BIRTHDAY CAMPS

Celebrate your child's birthday with a tailored group experience for young equestrians ages 3 to 6. Our Camps are designed to be accessible for all levels of riding, from never-touched-a-horse to expert rider, so no one needs to be left off the invitation list. Fish, Marshmallow, and all their BCEC friends can't wait to be a part of your special day!

Join Fish & Marsh:

Each two-hour Camp is designed to get your Birthday Camper and up to eleven of their friends moving, riding, and creating in a safe, private environment. During their Camp, your guests will enjoy a number of activities, including:

A five-minute pony ride per child
Tackling our Mini Arena Obstacle Course
Lunch / Snack Break
Your Choice of Art Project: custom coloring pages or custom horseshoes
Happy Birthday song and cake time

Price: $800 for up to 12 children. Ask about our $50 add-on options: "Brush 'n' Braid" or "Painting Ponies" are a great option for hands-on horse lovers!

Adult participants do not cost extra and are not included in the guest count.

What you provide:

Decorations, tablecloths, and food service utensils
Snacks, lunch, and cake (please note that the BCEC is a nut-free facility)

What we provide:

Personalized Birthday Camp coloring pages
All the tables and chairs for eating, art activities, and your food and dessert displays
Up to two pop-up tents, as needed

Additional rental equipment may be available by request

Who can book Birthday Camps?
Birthday Camps are available to everyone! If there is a scheduling conflict, priority will be given to residents of Bell Canyon Association.

When is the BCEC available for Birthday Camps?
The BCEC space and mini ponies are currently available between 10:30 AM and 3 PM on weekend days, or by special arrangement. This availability is subject to change; please check with birthdays@bellcanyonequestriancenter.com for the most current availability.

What spaces in the BCEC are open to the Birthday Camp?
For the safety of our guests, boarders, and riders, Birthday Camp access is limited to the activity area: camps before 1 PM will be restricted to the front area, the Creekside Arena, and the round pen; camps after 1 PM will be restricted to the front area, the inner Courtyard, the Creekside Arena, and the round pen.

Will my guests need to bring any specific gear to participate?
No, the BCEC will provide riding helmets that must be worn when a participant is riding. Otherwise, your guests will need to be dressed appropriately for riding: close-toed and close-heeled shoes, long pants, and nothing that could interfere with safe mounting and dismounting of the pony. May I bring in outside vendors?
You are welcome to bring in a caterer, food delivery, or face painter! Please note that all other outside vendors, including, but not limited to, balloon artists, musical entertainers, face characters, and petting zoos, are not permitted.

Reservation Policy:

To book a Birthday Camp, you can either reserve online or in-person at the BCA office. To reserve online, click the button above and fill out the reservation request form with your three preferred dates and times. To reserve in-person, please come to the BCA office at 30 Hackamore Lane, Suite 8, Bell Canyon, CA 91307 and complete your reservation request form there. The full balance of $800 is due at time of request. You may either pay by check in the BCA office or with credit or debit card online; a convenience fee ($42.11) will be added to all online payments.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

The entire amount of $800 is due at time of booking. This may be paid by check in the BCA office located at 30 Hackamore Lane, Suite 8, Bell Canyon, CA 91307, or by credit or debit card online. Please note that there will be an online convenience fee of $42.11 on all online payments.

Payments are fully refundable up to 14 days before the scheduled event date. Payments are 50% refundable 13 – 3 days before the scheduled event date. No payment amount will be refunded within three days of the scheduled event date. Payments may be applied forward if a party must reschedule.

A scheduled party may not be rescheduled for any reason but weather and/or illness.

If conditions are deemed unsafe by BCEC staff, the facility will contact you reschedule to a new date.
In the case that a party must be rescheduled due to illness, you must reach out to birthdays@bellcanyonequestriancenter.com as soon as possible so that an alternate camp date may be provided.

Attire Policy:

Please make sure your guests are appropriately dressed for riding. All participants must wear close-toed, close-heeled shoes. Long pants are required. No sharp objects or weapons, including toy weapons, are permitted. No costume masks, wings, or inflatable costumes may be worn. All participants must wear a BCEC-issued helmet while riding unless participant brings their own equestrian helmet. No roller blades, roller skates, or “heelie” roller shoes are permitted. Bicycle helmets and other non-equestrian helmets may not be substituted for a proper equestrian helmet.

Camp Access Policy:

Birthday Camp attendees and renters have limited access to the BCEC facilities. Access is limited to the activity area: camps before 1 PM will be restricted to the front area, the Creekside Arena, and the round pen; camps after 1 PM will be restricted to the front area, the inner Courtyard, the Creekside Arena, and the round pen. Only those guests listed on the attendance list provided to the BCA office ahead of time will be permitted to enter the Bell Canyon Association community.
